I agree with Brian wholeheartedly! I have no idea how to reduce my junk mail because I have tried to get myself off lists too and end up with a ton of stuff to either shred or recycle on Saturdays.

They should reduce the mail delivery to three days a week.  Then they should raise the cost of a first class stamp to  $1.00.  That would probably solve most of their financial problems.  However, the post office can't raise costs without congressional approval.

I've been thinking about this-trying to think of a clever way to say, no. I shall not be missing yet another bill...blah blah blah...but then I was remembering my former mail lady-I cannot think of her name but she was the one with the giant braid. She was The Best. Altho our current mail lady is also awesome and packs treats for dogs so no complaints outta me. 
Anyway, I remember her telling me that after 9-11 people came out of their houses and embraced her-because she was the first one from 'the government' that they'd seen since the towers fell and so I got to thinking about people who are not online and not so groovily sophisticated as we all are and maybe letter carriers are the only people they see all day so, yeah for me? I don't wait for things to come on Saturdays but the people who might are not able to reply. 
Possibly maybe.

Hey Becca - I highly doubt it, especially as it looks like package delivery service will continue on Saturdays.

While I've done my best to take myself off of as many junk mail lists as possible, it still seems like that is the majority of what actually shows up in the mail.
