Best Bagels in Oak Park?

For a chain, my favorite bagels are Einstein's. They closed the Oak Park one years ago, so the closest one that I know of is now in Oak Brook. We go by there often when we are shopping in that area.…

How Do Most Oak Park Area Residents Get to Work?

Blue line from Forest Park to Downtown Chicago and back. Some days the EL has some issues, but I can't think of a better commute. I would hate to drive 290 at all during the week.

We've cut back in general for all non-essential spending, although I still pick up some spices occasionally from Penzeys. For all necessities (groceries, pharmacy, etc) we'll go outside of OP, usually to Target.

I'm a fan of Couponmom.com so I usually go to Jewel or SuperTarget, depending on what's on sale and what coupons I have. We'll also do a run to Costco every three weeks or so.

We like going there for breakfast, but haven't been in a while. The food is good, regular diner type of fare.Atmosphere could use some sprucing up.
