Any suggestions for where to have a 3 year old girl's B-day party in/near OP?

I saw once that Wonder Works Children's museum does parties, but I've never been. The local park districts (Berwyn, Oak Park, Forest Park or River Forest) probably have party rooms next to playground…

Best Bagels in Oak Park?

For a chain, my favorite bagels are Einstein's. They closed the Oak Park one years ago, so the closest one that I know of is now in Oak Brook. We go by there often when we are shopping in that area.…

We've cut back in general for all non-essential spending, although I still pick up some spices occasionally from Penzeys. For all necessities (groceries, pharmacy, etc) we'll go outside of OP, usually to Target.

I liked Nola's and just recently found out that it closed. We didn't go there a lot, but every once in a while it was nice to get some creole food and beignets.
