Brunch sounds like a good idea.
They have a decent brunch on Sunday's if you're a sampler.
I have never tried them. I think maybe Ill give them a go even if im a picky eater.
Winberies is one of those places I've driven past many times but never stopped into. I'll add to the list of places to try.

I have always enjoyed my meals there. My only criticism is that appetizers are a bit pricey. $9.00 for Calamari? WTF?
Winberie is our fool proof fall-back plan for when we have company, it appeals to all generations and is consistently good with a versatile menu. Although they used to have a Cuban Sandwich which they no longer have and we miss it.
Wow, that's quite an endorsement. We went there this week after a long hiatus and I have to say that it was a nice meal. I had even commented that we rarely go there even though the food is actually pretty good and so is the atmosphere.

Green Line Panhandler
The Tribune has just run a story about Clarence Ervin, a panhandler I'm certain we've all had to deal with. Usually I can get him to leave me along, but twice I've nearly had to fight him when I've told him to leave other people alone. He comes inside MSCM to beg; one time I saw him stopping traffic to demand money from drivers.

CFPA: For or Against?
After seeing Elizabeth Warren on the Daily Show this week, I started looking around online for information about the bill she referred to in the end of the interview. She said it was critical that this legislation be passed and urged people to write to their senators. - Thanks for swinging by! As you probably noticed, we have a number of Oak Park Twitter folks on here. Must be nice overlooking the park. We kind of overlook a park (ok ... it's the playing field for an elementary school, but it's park-like) and it's definitely nice and serene when the kiddos aren't out there. Looking forward to chatting with you more.
