Joining a Group
•Join an existing group by selecting the “Join a Group” tab at the top of any page. If one of the groups strikes your fancy, just click on the title and then select “+ Join” in the upper right corner of the group’s page.

•After you’ve joined the group, it’s time to participate. You can add comments on the group’s wall, start a discussion in the group’s forum or join an existing one. To see all the discussions, just select “View All” in the Discussion Forum Box.

•If you want to keep track of your group’s activity, click on the “Follow” icon just above the group’s member box.

Creating a Group
•To create a group, go to the “Join a Group Tab” and click “+Add a group” in the top right corner. Note: When uploading your group icon, try to select a square-shaped photo.

•Select the features for your group on the right-hand side of the page. You can add everything from a comment wall and discussion forum to a text box or RSS reader.

•Remember to select your privacy settings because you will not be able to change them once the group has formed.

•Select whether or not group members can send broadcast messages.

•Select “Add Group” to activate your group for Live Here Oak Park members to join.
