Hi!  My name is Ian Sassano. I'm a tennis coach in the Oak Park area and am looking to coach children ages 5 and older this summer and into the fall.  I was a player at Downers Grove North High School and have been a tennis instructor since my senior year in 2007.  I am available for both private and group lessons and if any moms need lessons I can coach adults as well!  My main goal in teaching tennis is to make sure all students learn the tennis basics while having a really fun time in the process.  I look forward to hearing from you, inbox here or email me at iansassano@gmail.com

Hello!  My name is Alana Murphy.  I grew up here in Oak Park close to the Lake Street theater, and I am back for the summer after graduating from college.  I will be here until August, and I am looking to get more babysitting clients.  I am extremely comfortable taking care of children, and have worked as a Sunday school teacher for two and three year-olds as well as an assistant teacher at an Sycamore Elementary School, CA for first and second graders.  My schedule is pretty flexible.  Please contact me at ako.murphy@comcast.net and we can then arrange to meet in person or talk over the phone to discuss details.

Hi.... I've been here for one year. I'm looking for babysitting job in the Oak park area. I used to take care of my nieces and nephews...oh....I've  missed them too much...... :(   I am architect and right now I am studying English and I've applied for another master program in UIC . I am 36 years old.

We need one more artist to fill the class.  Please check it out.  Well - if you haven't checked into the Oak Park Art League's classes - you should do that anyway BUT the Monday class - well I know some pretty great kids who are in it already.

Hi Molly - welcome!  Another vote for Pedios.  We usually see Dr Turk and love her!

Hi Molly, I love Pedios, Ltd on Chicago Ave.  They have been wonderful with all three of my children.  Here is a link to their website. http://www.pedios.com/  I really love their morning call in hour.  You can call in and ask questions to the doctor immediately instead of waiting for the message to go through a nurse and you don't have to go in!!  I have used it many times.  We have seen everyone in the office between the 3 of them, but our doctor is Dr. Heather Haukness. Good luck with everything!

Hi Molly, welcome to Oak Park! Many of us go to Oak Park Pediatrics. They'd a an ad with a link to their website in the homepage. We've been seeing Dr Thompson.

Hi,

My family just moved here from NYC and I'm eager to find community/friends for my 8 yr old daughter and myself. (My husband is a native Chicagoan.) For now I'd be very grateful if parents in Oak Park would share recommendations for pediatricians and babysitters. We really don't need a nanny, just the odd evening here or there or I'd contact some of the childcare providers who recently posted here.

Thanks for any info.

Hello moms of Oak Park,

I just moved to the neighborhood and am a full time nanny looking for work. I have 5 years experience, primarily with infants and great references. If you know of anyone that is in search of a great nanny please pass along my information. My email address is bgabriellelaw@gmail.com and a link to my care.com profile is below.

Thanks!!

Hi All!  I'm due August 3 with my first.  I'll need infant care beginning in late October and wanted to put feelers out...is there anyone out there that would want to do a nanny share around that time?  Any recommendations for in-home or commercial daycares?  Thanks :-)
