In the meantime, can some of you offer some insight on best areas to look for apartments in Oak Park? I'm learning Oak Park is made up of villages is this right? If so, can you all suggest some villages ideal for a family with young children? I'll be wanting to enroll my son in pre-k so maybe with that in mind? Is living near the blue line and okay area?

Hello everyone! My name is Maya and I am moving to Oak Park (most likely) this summer and am hoping to connect with other Mamas! I'm 26, I have two little ones-- a 3 1/2 yr old (boy) and an almost 1 year old (girl). My husband will be working at Rush. I'll be moving from Columbus! (Originally from Ann Arbor). I, like Jennifer will have tons of questions I'm sure and also just wanted to introduce myself!

Hey ladies ... I am a relatively new mom of an 8 month old daughter who is milk and soy protein interolerant (MSPI). We found out when she was 3 months and I've been doing the MSPI diet since then b/c I am bf'ing. I plan to continue till she's 12 months, but really have been nervous about going out to eat. Just wondering if other Oak Park moms dealing with food allergies had any recommendations on local restaurants and their ability to accommodate you?
