Okay, so I am not a mom...yet. I just wanted to let you all know that we have lots of space for a Mom meetup and we also have our Lunch Special "Any TWO Arepas and a fountain drink for 8.75". We are always happy and willing to accomodate small or large groups with room to move along. We also have the fountain in front if the tots want to play in it.

Hello -

I live in Oak Park and am looking for a babysitter for three children, ages 4, 7, and 10, for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily and over school breaks. I will consider everyone from junior or senior highschool students, college students, grandmothers, people in between jobs, etc. Also, we currently have a wonderful full time babysitter that will be looking for a full time position in the fall. So, please let me know if anyone has any part-time babysitter recommendations, or if anyone is looking for a full-time babysitter.

There's a new dance studio on Madison and Home, Ogletree Dance Studio. I haven't checked it out yet, but Shaunda Ogletree, the owner, used to teach some kids' dance classes for the OP Park District and my daughters LOVED her. Just wanted to let you know my friend has been trying to get a group of kids together to introduce them to the game of GO! She's doing this in her studio, Creative Changes @ 140 Harrison Street on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30. I just listed it under events for her. She only charges $2.00 per child.
