There's a new dance studio on Madison and Home, Ogletree Dance Studio. I haven't checked it out yet, but Shaunda Ogletree, the owner, used to teach some kids' dance classes for the OP Park District and my daughters LOVED her. It looks like there are classes for adults too! Here's her web site: http://ogletreedancerealm.net/
And here's the Facebook page:

Just wanted to let you know my friend has been trying to get a group of kids together to introduce them to the game of GO! She's doing this in her studio, Creative Changes @ 140 Harrison Street on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30. I just listed it under events for her. She only charges $2.00 per child. This is more a community events type offering, than a money making venture. More info can be found here: http://www.creativechangesoakpark.com/GO_for_Kids.html

A meetup group I'm in is hosting this & I thought you might be interested. Not sure whether there's a place for garage sales to list on the site.

Multi Family Garage Sale organized by local mom's group. Children's clothes and toys, jewelry, small furniture, craft items, women's clothing, fish tank, antiques: 1143 S. Scoville, Oak Park. Saturday 6/5 8am - 2pm

Personally, I have a pair of figure skates & roller blades, a nice Columbia winter coat (2 parts), and other household items. Enjoy!

I just LOVE Jumps N Jiggles at the Elk Grove Village park district! It's a great indoor play area directly connected to an indoor carousel - a real, beautiful old-school carousel. The play area is like a glorified McDonald's play space and everything is so clean and the staff are nice. Only $3.50 per child, free parking, and you can get a coupon for buy 1/get 1 free. Hours are 10-12 and 1-3 M-F. I couldn't believe I brought my twin 2 year olds for 2 hours for only $3.50 - they had a blast and so did I. Check it out!!

Hi Everyone! I just started selling Usborne Books. These are great kids books that should be in everyone's home. (They do the "That's Not My Bear...Car...Doll...etc" series). Anyway, as an incentive for just starting out, I get to offer double free books to anyone that wants to host a party. This could mean tons of free kids books (from birth to teenage years). If anyone is interested, let me know! Thanks for your time....
