That's fantastic, Lisa!  I look forward to meeting you this summer.  I believe Gray Farms is working to convert what was once a conventional farm to officially organic but they have to be established a certain # of years to get certification.  Soon!

Gray Farms looks wonderful, Rachel -- we just signed up.  I like how they use sustainable farming practices even though it isn't officially "organic."

What would a single person do? That is far too many veggies for one person to eat.

Hi Abby! I found it very worthwhile. We could count on zucchini and kale, sometimes spinach, which we would otherwise be buying every week from Trader Joe's (we use in pasta sauce, casseroles, chili and soup) and then there could be tomatoes, sweet corn, green onions, basil, beans, strawberries, shallots, etc. they also send a heads-up of what they'll be packing 1-2 days out when they harvest - sometimes depending on what's ripe, there are last minute subs. I forgot to mention there is a "swap box" too where you can put your zucchini if you have too much, or grab someone's unwanted basil if you want to make pesto, etc.

Thanks for sharing this info Rachel! As somebody who gets overwhelmed by the farmers market, this is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for! What was your experience with the boxes? It says they include 7-9 items each week, did you find that it was a worthwhile amount?

Hi all! It's going to be a beautiful 3-day weekend! What healthy ways are you going to get out and enjoy it? Any good biking trails to recommend?  Is anyone going to run in the Marathon on Sunday?
