Has Anyone Been to or Heard Anything about Barclay's American Grill Yet?

Hey Becca - I have gone to Barclay's and enjoyed my meal very much! Decent prices, tasty dishes but be warned.... it's not the quickest service around. Great spot for a long conversation over dinner.

Just went there tonight. I have a mixed experience. I had very tasty food, but I will never go back.
I am older than dirt and what I want in a dining experience is 1) good food of adequate quantity 2) good service - which means attentive, but not overbearing 3) quiet and comfortable surroundings 4) fair prices (not necesarily cheap)
Barclay's seems to be designed to appeal to people in their 20's - upscale people in their 20's. The owners have obviously spent big bucks in rehabing the place. It looks good. But, it is all very open and all of the space centers on the bar with lots of big screen TV's and lots of bar noise.
We each had the salmon with mashed sweet potatoes and a sort of fruit salsa which was very very tastly, but in skimpy portions. I eat out a lot and have been doing so for 50 years. At most restaurants, I eat half my entree and take the other half home. This reflects my appetite and typical portion size in restaurants these days. At Barclay's I ate my whole entree. I had enough to eat and I was satisfied. But, if you usually eat your whole entree at a restaurant, you may not get enough to eat.
I expect this will be a great place for the right people, I am just not one of those people.
Our waitress was outstanding.

I think you may be right about their target. Just north of my 20s and I will say that I did really like the decor and the vibe. Unfortunately my entree wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.
