Event Description
The Music for Life Foundation is sponsoring a World Music Festival, a musical benefit on March 20 at First United Church in Oak Park, to fund private music instruction for students in the Oak Park area who otherwise could not afford them.
Proceeds of the benefit will go to students in PING!, which provides instruments and arranges for high school music students to mentor beginning musicians.
Musicians include Los Pichardos (Mexican Folk), Commas (Turkish) and Indian “Jugalbandhi”, a fusion of Eastern and Western musical traditions
