Who's ready for a meetup? It's time to come from behind your avatars and witty comments and get to know your fellow Oak Park area residents from Live Here Oak Park.
For those of you who haven't attended before, our meetups are pretty casual. Just fun and friendly conversation.
Our host for this upcoming event is Aripo's on Marion Street. The owner, Jose, has kindly offered to provide free appetizers for the event, so if you are attending, please be sure to by a drink or something else as a "thank you" for his generosity (I personally will be getting my favorite arepa and some black beans).
Please be sure to RSVP on this page if you're going to come so we can get an accurate count for planning purposes. And if you can't make it after you've responded, please be sure to change your RSVP status.

Good that you are offering these meet ups for folks...however, I am a veteran book sorter for the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library summer Book Sale...we sort every night from 7 to 9:30 (also a good place to meet like-minded folks) M thru F until the sale on August 5th and 6th. If you don't volunteer to sort...please come to fill your shelves with lots to read until next summer when you can bring them back and buy more!
