Police Cameras in Berwyn

I first noticed this a couple of days ago and tweeted about it recently, but has anyone else noticed the new police camera on the Berwyn side of Roosevelt near the new Culvers? It is pretty obnoxious - 24/7 flashing red and blue lights. I don't think anyone had this type of 'enhancement' in mind as part of the $9M project. It seems self-defeating; put in new street lamps, build bump-outs for pedestrian safety, generally enhance the aesthetics and then, after all that, install a police camera???See More
